There are two ways your monetary contribution can make a difference to the arts in Alameda County:

Support the ARTSFUND Grants Program

Contributions to the ARTSFUND Grants Program help support Alameda County nonprofit organizations providing essential programs and services. Alameda County property owners receive a donation form with their property tax bill. Make a donation when paying your property taxes or at any time of the year.

At this time, donations to the ARTSFUND and the Foundation for the Arts can only be accepted by check. The office of the Arts Commission is currently working on a new system to accept online donations. It is anticipated that the system will be in place in early 2025. In the meantime, property owners who are paying their property taxes and others can download the ARTSFUND donation form above to make a contribution. Thank you very much for your patience as this new system gets set-up and for contributions.

Support the Foundation for the Arts in Alameda County

The Foundation for the Arts in Alameda County is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit California Corporation, founded in 1992 for the purpose of developing resources and support for the programs of the Alameda County Arts Commission.

The Alameda County Arts Commission is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Alameda County by nurturing a thriving environment for the arts and for cultural activities; promoting economic opportunities for Alameda County’s artists and arts organizations through programs such as arts grants, public art, and art in education programs; encouraging public participation in the arts and actively advocating for the arts.
